A few things make it easy enough to point Izumi out in a crowd. Regardless of her form, regardless of how she choses to travel. It'll be bright blue luminous eyes framed by crimsom red markings that announce 'Inari's favorite' to be around.

A quick, casual look to Izumi's right hand would quickly out one of her other sighs that she tends to keep 'intact' - A lack of pinky usually shows that she is around.

Finally, down her left arm a set of four spider-lilies decorate her skin, blue, white, firey red and green. Each one in memory to her clans Kami. Each standing for Seiryu, Byakko, Suzaku & Genbu respectively.

By now also her right arm & leg tend to be wrapped in bandages at all times when she is out and about. Scars and injury leaving her self concious and now, she spends alot of time using more natural ways of hiding such things.

A silver wedding band, embeded with a diamond. An expensive piece, yet it's meaning is as obvious - as much as the whole item is simply priceless to her. Much like 'Mizuchi', Izumi is never seen without it.

Nagoriyuki, Lingering Snow, a weapon forged by the master blacksmith in Asakura. 'A blade befitting of the Lady of our Clan... Please don't lose it as quickly as you did the spear..' The blade is a symbol to her. To her duty & to the foot-steps in which she follows.

"A gift.. Originally a burden, yet now, a symbol to the people that rely on me. Asakura and every single one of their allies has their guardian in me."

Mizuchi, Izumi's most beloved posession. Pitch black wood, perfectly polished to hide a flawlessly fracted blade with the inscription on it's side.'Izumi' on one & 'Mizuchi' on the ohter. This gift was recieved from her wife, one which she'll always - without excuse - will carry with herself.

"A gift, the first gift. A reminder of the place and the person to where I belong, no ammount of muddled memories will take this place away from me."

A black leather collar, lined with incredibly soft black fur on it's inside. The leather itself is inscribed with runes to ward her against those prying with aether sight. - What ever she hides, the person that has given it to her made sure Izumis secrets stay just that.
Besides that, there was a tag. "Yukikaze."

"It's.. cute.."

A beautifully crafted silver necklace which was the home to a small collection of items close to Izumi's heart. A few rings of different priceless materials. Among them was a golden pendant with the symbol of Inari on it. A beautiful snow-flake talisman with an aetherical shard in it and a few rings that she wished to always keep close to her heart.

"Many bits and trinkets, of promises and loves and other friends. Each and every single one with beautiful memories attached to them."

A silver ring rested at the womans thumb. A token she often idly toys with. It has a few inscriptions on it's edges, yet to small, to faint, to actually make out. Over it's center one could see the aetheric reflection of a pale full-moon.

Personality

Izumi Yukikaze on the first interaction usually comes off as somekind of a scatter minded fool, a gremlin truly. A chaotic mind who thrives in sowing mischief and annoying people to the best of her abilities. Of course, as chaotic as she may come off, it's all a facade.

Under all the chaos that she initially radiates, Izumi is a truly caring person. A woman of conviction and focus, that will always go through great lengths to help those in need. Be it medical care, a meal or directly going to arms for them. Often with absolutely no regards for her own health and safety...Much to her partners dismay.

It all stems from a severe weight of guilt that she carries on her shoulders from her time as a Garlean conscript. 'Work hard, follow orders and earn your place in the Empire.' Having followed this advice, much innocent blood stains her hands, which left her on an unending mission of atonement. One, which she's certain, will only end with her own blood staining the ground.

Until then? She has people to protect.

Smoke & Mirrors: Izumi is a grandmistress of Illusions & Glamour magic. One point, she may walk around as a normal run of the mill Miqo'te, the other mayhap a Viera? A Jack even? Or rather a Raen - Or is Xaeala more her fancy of the day?

Something about it is far to convincing to be just glamours. As always with most 'tricks' & 'tricksters' .. There is always more then meets the eye.

Friends on the other side: Once a hunter of the void, Izumi has made the void and it's denizens subject of her research. From summoning, to empowering magic with the void and other ritual casts. Izumi has made it to the border of obsession to understand all the secrets the Void has to offer.

Crafty little...: Somethingentirely else would catch the attention of the more aethericly sensitive people of the world. Between wards and glamour, tokens and trinkets Izumi is not entirely what the eyes lead one to believe. Vast bottomless reserves of aether in constact flux. Bright as the sun and unending as the sky, one would have to dig a little to find a secret.

Once upon a time: An avid lover of books and storys, Izumi has taken up the quil herself. Writing of history and fiction. With her daughter being her greatest fan of course.

Perhaps she could keep a passionate writer herself, or mayhap a lover of other arts such as singing or painting for she is known amongst her friends to toy with both ideas herself.

She's got the hoodoo and the voodoo: But don't you think that just because she has turned towards the research of things, Izumi has stopped to aid those ailed by the dark arts of the world.
